To do so, you must provide proof that your business has ceased operations, is no longer registered as a business or no longer registered at the Central Agency Packaging Register (LUCID) by 31 January in the following year.
What do I need to do?
Please send us EITHER an official document about the termination of your business OR a confirmation of deregistration from the Central Agency Packaging Register (LUCID) by the January deadline at the latest.
If you have dissolved your business and have not yet deregistered from the Packaging Register, please use the following link to do so as soon as possible: https://lucid.verpackungsregister.org/Hersteller/Stammdaten (scroll to the end of the page and then click "Terminate registration").
Important note: You will not receive the proof of deregistration until the expiration date has passed (example: you deregister today in LUCID as of 12/31. Then you will receive the deregistration certificate only on 01.01.) – please take this into account when submitting your proof (see above) to us.
As soon as we receive the proof from you, you will receive an e-mail confirming the cancellation as of 31.12 of the respective year.
