Which obligations from the Packaging Act do I have to comply with?

There are three duties set out by the Act that you are required to fulfil:

1. Register with the LUCID register maintained by the Central Agency Packaging Register. You will then receive your LUCID registration number.
2. License your packaging volumes that you ship to Germany with a dual system such as Interzero Recycling Alliance, using Lizenzero.de. You will receive proof of your system participation.
3. Report your licensed packaging volumes and the name of your dual system to the LUCID packaging register.

You have not fulfilled your duties as set out by the Packaging Act until you have registered with the packaging register, have entered your LUCID registration number at Lizenzero and have fulfilled your data report duty to LUCID.
